DONATIONS

In light of limited government funding and an ever increasing demand for our services, public support is needed now more than ever.

Any donations are most graciously accepted:

  1) by cheque or money order mailed directly to our office

      OR

  2) on-line by credit card or Interac Email Money Transfer (through
      CanadaHelps).

CanadaHelps is a registered non-profit charitable organization created to help Canadian charities affordably accept donations online, as well as, to make donating easier for everyone. They process the online donations from donors to charities at no cost to the donor and at very little cost to us (mainly to cover credit card charges).

Tax-deductible Donations: Donations made through the CanadaHelps website are fully tax deductible. Within minutes of making a donation, CanadaHelps will mail an electronic tax receipt to the email address you provided. You can save and print this receipt at any time. The Canadian Revenue Agency has approved the use of e-receipts for tax purposes.

Site Security: All information, including financials, personal identification and any other records, are securely protected behind multiple security measures. CanadaHelps has worked extensively with a number of major technology companies and online security experts to ensure that the site not only meets security requirements, but far exceeds them. Privacy Protection: When making an on-line donation to us, only CanadaHelps and the Pacific Post Partum Society have access to the personal information you've given. CanadaHelps does not share this information with other charities, nor do they trade or sell their records to anyone. For added privacy, they also offer an anonymous donation service. Interac Email Money Transfer: Is a bank-based, person-to-person transfer of funds that uses email for fast notification, while financial institutions transfer the funds using established and secure inter-banking systems. To send an Interac Email Money Transfer, login to your bank account online, specify our email address (pppss@postpartum.org), fill in the Interac Email Money Transfer information (payment amount, account from which to withdraw the funds, security question and optional personal message) and press send. An email notification will be sent to our inbox.
