Mom and Baby Interactive Talks about Postpartum Adjustment

In partnership with public health, information sessions are provided to new mothers to discuss postpartum emotions and self-care, acknowledging the surprises and challenges of motherhood. Approximately 100 of these talks are provided each year reaching over 1400 new mothers and fathers.

Outreach and Education

The Society is often invited to do presentations and workshops at local and international conferences and to other health professionals and students.

Community Trainings

Training in group facilitation and basic support skills for postpartum moms is offered in communities across Western Canada as requested. Trainings are also offered for telephone support and, more recently, for multicultural workers.
