WHO ARE WE?
The Pacific Post Partum Support Society (PPPSS) is a non-profit society which provides support to women and families experiencing depression or anxiety related to the birth or adoption of a baby. We also provide training and information for professionals, as well as community education on postpartum depression.
How We Got Here! will give
you a little insight on how we got to where we are today.
OUR VISION Our vision is for knowledgeable and caring support to be available for families everywhere, and for awareness about this issue to be so commonplace that the services of the Society are no longer necessary. OUR PHILOSOPHY The philosophy of the Society has always been that the most effective help for postpartum depression and anxiety (PPD) is non-judgmental support from women who have been through it themselves.
